Scaffold scope: To allow access for glazing works to 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor windows whilst ground floor reception is constructed

The contractors tender program was keen on this project and as a result they needed to carry out glazing works to upper floors as well as constructing the new reception area, hence the bridging at low level. Twin 780mm aluminium beam bridges were assembled at ground level and lifted into a location at predetermined heights to clear new steel frame. Anchor ties were unsuitable for this façade as it was clad with a stone veneer so full through window ties were chosen which resulted in us working closely with the glaziers at each step of the scaffold install and deinstall.
